New York Press

[edit]

I'm having trouble confirming the timeframe, but I think the strip switched to the Voice in 2003 (not in "1999 or 2000," when Russ Smith still owned the Press). I'm guessing it wasn't the editorial changeover per se; he was probably pissed over them shrinking the size of the strips, and for paying next to nothing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.59.24.40 (talk) 00:41, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! You don't need to read the rest of this, because I verified that the edits were correct! I verified edits both in wikitext and by opening the dead links and archived links for both changes: the two dead links only open 404 errors and the Wayback Machine archives open two interesting interviews.
