Correct location of boundary?

[edit]

The article states "On Long Island, a line would be drawn south from the westernmost point of Oyster Bay, through modern Nassau County". This would place the border between the Town of Oyster Bay and the Town of Hempstead (and now also Town of North Hempstead). However the article also notes that the border between Nassau and Suffolk County's is with minor adjustments the same as negotiated in 1650. This would make it the easternmost point of Oyster Bay. Also there is a historical marker on the Nassau/Suffolk border on Manetto Hill Road in Woodbury/Huntington that indicates it is on the international boundary between New Netherlands and The New England Confederation under the Treaty of Hartford 1650-1664. This would confirm eastern Oyster Bay.
