Concerns

[edit]

Hi there, this is only the second page I have ever created, and might have missed a point somewhere. The only pages that link to this page are direct links e.g. ujfm, and ujfm campus radio, I don't see how this would constitute spam/advertising. If however it still remains spam/advertising, please tell me how to change it so that it no longer constitutes the above. Thanks Max de Vries 21:37, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The tone of the article sounded so much like promotional material. Take a look at this Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view KMS 21:54, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Could you maybe tell me what I could remove/change to make it less promotional? I have no ties to the radio station (other than the fact that I listen to it). I might be biased towards it, so I'm not seeing the promotional part of it. I would really Like to sort this out, if possible. Thanks Max de Vries 22:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed a few things, maybe that would suffice? If not, please advise me on any other changes that might be made. Thanks, Max de Vries 22:25, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have now reduced the article a lot, and I believe that it should conform to wikipedia requirements. Max de Vries 13:33, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You should probably ask a more experienced editor than me. But I think that the article looks much better now. However, I don't think all of what you have removed was bad. For example, the 40% quota system must be all right... KMS 14:31, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks man, appreciate it.... Max de Vries 14:59, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the motto, I hadn't noticed that they had changed it *blush*. I just forgot to log in before making the change. I have also included the 40% music ratio again. Thanks for keeping an eye for me though :) Max de Vries 09:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
