The text in the article included a request for a photo of the colliery winding towers. I have removed this to make the article flow better and also because such requests should be here. Anyone? The joy of all things (talk) 14:27, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Recent developments section needs updating

As it is now 8 years since the local Marks and Spencer store was given planning permission it would be useful if (especially a local user) could let us know if it is now built and if it could still be the largest in UK in the absence of a larger one being built in the meantime elsewhere by the company.Cloptonson (talk) 10:59, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
