Cite errors

[edit]

This template produces errors in Category:Pages using citations with accessdate and no URL for obvious reasons. However, it would be helpful if these false positives didn't appear in the category which obscure legitimate errors and cause extra work trying to fix things that aren't wrong. Would you have an example of such an article? Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 21:38, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I missed a cite journal case in Lambda Hydrae. Looks like it wasn't cite simbad causing the trouble after all. Lithopsian (talk) 22:23, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mutiple Simbad references

[edit]

If I want to have two different references to objects in Simbad in the same article. How can I do this using Cite simbad? Agerskov (talk) 13:44, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is just a convenience template to create a citation. You can have as many as you want, probably for different stars, in various references in an article. Just create a reference as normal and place this template inside the reference instead of a citation template or hard-coded text. Or you could add them as external links.
