While other chip flavors such as barbecue and jalapeno are more subjective, salty potato chips satisfy any palette. As the name states, it is a potato chip that is crinkle cut, meaning it has the waves in it. Furthermore, it has pink Himalayan salt on it instead of normal salt. 14/15: Takis[4][edit]

These spicy tortilla chips come as long red tubes rather than the typical flattened out chips and possess a tangy, hot flavor you'd want to experience again and again. This would give them a ranking of 5 on the scale for addictiveness. The chips are shaped unlike any other, but they are not the first popular snack to be spicy. They have a dust coating similar to the one on Cheetos but it's a darker red slightly more hot. They come in various flavors but some of the most popular flavors include Fuego, Hot Chili Pepper, and Lemon. They serve as a good afternoon snack while having a movie marathon or binge-watching watching any tv show. The dust coating is known for winding up everywhere, so eaters of the snack should be cautious with the burning hot snack. Takis are sold in various packaging sizes which include a Party size 24.7oz bag, a personal 9.9oz bag, and they also come in single 1oz. bags for a smaller serving. The diversity in packaging size makes the snack useful for different occasions. Due to this fact, Takis are ranked 5 for packaging. The price of Takis can range from around $2.68 to around $7.00 depending on where they are sold and how many ounces are being bought. This is pretty reasonable for a bag of chips, especially when you can buy them in party packages that offer a large quantity of the snack. Takis are ranked 4 in the pricing category due to reasonable prices. With all that said, Takis remain one of the best snack choices for typical binge-watchers. They are a highly addictive snack that are best paired with a highly addictive show.

13/15: Almond Joy[5][edit]

The Almond Joy chocolate candy bar is arguably the best chocolate candy bar to eat while binge-watching TV shows and movies. Almond Joys are a chocolate bar, but stand out from others. It is filled with coconut and has an almond in each section of the candy bar, which is why it is considered to be addictive and original. Almond Joy is ranked as a 4 for how addictive it is because the bar is sweet and has the almonds to add some crunch to the chocolate bar. Almond Joys taste like a coconut dessert, except with some milk chocolate on it to add more sweet flavoring to the candy. The almonds in the candy bar are always crunchy and are the perfect addition to the overall soft chocolate bar. Almond Joy is probably most well-known for its originality because of the integration of coconut and chocolate. Most chocolate bars are mainly focused on the chocolate aspect, but Almond Joy brought together chocolate, coconut, and almonds into their product. Almond Joy’s 1.61 oz bar typically costs around $1.29, which brings their pricing to a 4 ranking due to the fact that it might be expensive for a chocolate bar. Although binge-watchers would want to save money on the snacks that they tend to eat, they should consider how Almond Joy is an original snack that would have binge-watchers craving to want this chocolate bar. The packaging for this chocolate bar can be ranked as a 5 because it is greatly helpful for binge-watchers since they will not have to worry about getting that rich milk chocolate on their fingers and pausing their TV show or movie just to get a napkin. Instead, the packaging is designed to unwrap the chocolate bar as one eats it bite by bite, which is a positive aspect that binge-watchers should consider. For these reasons, Almond Joy gets ranked at a 13/15 because although they are not the most affordable or addictive snack, they are packaged separately which makes them very simple to eat.

13/15: Herr's Kettle Cooked Salt and Vinegar Chips[6][edit]

Salt and vinegar chips, specifically the Herr’s kettle cooked chips, make a great snack for people that are craving chips with a little more flavor. This chip has the perfect amount of salt and vinegar per chip along with a flawless crunch. Many binge-watchers across the globe will agree and say that the salt and vinegar flavor is his or her favorite. Lays could not compare to Herr’s as Lays salt and vinegar chips have too much salt and more air than chips in the bag. As well as the quantity and quality of the chips, customers will save more money if they buy Herr's $2.00 bag of chips [7] compared to Lays' $2.68 bag [8] more money is saved when purchasing the Herr's brand, and although the chips are less expensive, the quality of the chips will not disappoint. In terms of how the chips are packaged, the packaging would be rated as a 4 of out 5. In terms of the pricing, it would be ranked at a solid 5 out of 5 because there are so many chips packed in one bag that you are buying them in bulk. While they score a 5 out of 5, they still do not match Kirkland's ability to pile chips into a massive bag. The chips are well packaged in a standard Herr's chip bag, and can effectively prevent the chips in the bag from breaking. Most customers would expect the packaging to be full of air, but Herr's salt and vinegar chips offer a large number of chips in their bags, and this can be a pleasant surprise for binge-watchers that can not get enough of the tangy snack. For this reason, the addictiveness of the chip and the ability to just keep on grabbing "one last chip" puts it at a 5 out of 5. Although the smell within the bag is something that can be expressed as distinctive, the chips itself are delicious, and a bit difficult to describe. The only way one can describe it is as satisfying salty but sour tangy flavor. The distinct, tangy flavor makes it difficult to put the chips away, making it rather addictive for binge-watchers. Herr's salt and vinegar chips would be ranked as a 13 out of 15 due to its unique, distinct flavor that cannot compare to various other chip flavors. The tangy vinegar in the chips can easily make a snack-lover's taste-buds tingle and it is relatively common to have cravings for this flavorful snack because of the satisfying flavor that it is packed with.

10/15: Wheat Thins[9][edit]

If binge-watchers want a healthier snack while watching their TV shows and movies, Wheat Thins are a great option. These snacks are little rectangular baked crackers that are salted and made with whole-wheat flour. Wheat Thins might be a nice alternative and a healthy snack, but compared to other snacks listed, it is not as addictive as a binge-watcher would expect it to be. Wheat Thins are only seasoned with salt, which can make it a bit difficult for the snack to be addictive without other seasoning. Although the crackers are only salted, one can still taste a bit of sweetness when one chews it, giving the binge-watcher a good balance of sweet and savory. Due to this aspect, Wheat Thins would be ranked as a 3 for how addictive the snack can be to a binge-watcher. Binge-watchers can also eat this snack and satisfy their cravings for carbs without feeling too regretful about their snack choice. For a regular size box of Wheat Thins, it can cost around $2.39 in local grocery stores. This is a bit pricey compared to the other snacks; however, this snack is a healthy option with a higher quantity of crackers due to the way this snack is packaged. The packaging the snack comes in is a box, which can be ranked a as a 3 because the box can be a bit bulky for the average binge-watcher. It has the potential to get in the way, which can inconvenience the binge-watcher who might want to lay down and get comfortable. With all of these aspects combined, Wheat Thins can be viewed as original from the healthiness and packaging of this snack, which makes this ranking a 4. There are not many snacks that are as enjoyable and as healthy as Wheat Thins for someone who wants to binge-watch their TV shows and movies while also making healthy snack choices.
