From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have written substantive articles on technical topics. I have also discovered that I don't need to bother with all that troublesome research and writing to get all the flack I could possibly want from editors who have different views.

Though WP:NOT says Wikipedia is not an experiment in democracy, yet it is an illustrative proving ground: WP seems to be a very authentic sample, in both problems and characters, of modern political democracy. If one can be made to work, there may be hope for the other.
