Oyster Reef Restoration

[edit]

Hi 72tigers, I noticed some of the changes you've made to Oyster Reef Restoration. A few things:

  • If you feel that the work you've done addresses some of the issues in the big template at the top of the page (you'll see I removed "had no intro section") then go ahead and remove the tag itself! If you're not comfortable doing so or you want someone else to, that's ok as well.
  • Articles on subjects like this, it's important to maintain a strong control over tone. This isn't your fault or even your express responsibility! Articles on environmental subjects are always walking a line between advocacy for the clear causes or issues involved and presenting a helpful summary for a reader.
  • Try to avoid self-references inside the text whenever you can avoid it. Phrases like "as we have said above" are minefields for future editors. If you add "we've already mentioned X" and I move where X is, I now have to rewrite that other section. In most cases (not all) you'll see the prose reads fine without it.

I'd be happy to help you continue editing the article. Let me know if you have any questions. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:07, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
