The NLP does not belong in [[Category:Labour parties in the United Kingdom]]. It was a neo-fascist group (as in National Socialist - the source of the name). Like the National Socialists, it is not socialist, nor a party of Labour, unlike all of the other parties in the category. Emeraude (talk) 11:05, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Emeraude: this is true but the main category [[Category:Labour parties]] explicitly states that this category is about the NAME not the ideology Braganza (talk) 11:14, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for delay in replying.
- I see your point, but there is an inherent error in this arrangement given that Category:Labour parties is itself a sub-category of Category:Labour movement. Emeraude (talk) 09:59, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- fair, but the are some former social democratic labour parties like in Jamaica we have other categories for clearly socialist (in the broader sence) parties
- Definition of labour parties is hard anyway, imo we should include self-declared workers parties too, the difference only exists in the anglo-speaking world Braganza (talk) 10:04, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
