Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jean Swank may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jean Swank, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Research Council (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your DYK nomination of Jean Swank

Hi, in order to eligible for the 2× BLP exception in DYK, an article must have had no references at all before expansion began. This is not the case for your nomination: Template:Did you know nominations/Jean Swank. However, you've almost expanded it the "normal" 5× amount. It was 526 prose characters before expansion, and it's now 2547. So, if you can add just another 83 characters, it will be a full five times expansion. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 02:51, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Hello Doctree! Thank you for being a host at the Teahouse. However, we haven't heard from you lately, so our bot has moved your Host profile from the host landing page to the host breakroom. No worries; you can always just Check in and our bot will move your profile back. Editing any Teahouse-related page will do the same thing for you. If you would prefer not to receive reminders like this, you can unsubscribe here. Thanks for your help at the Teahouse! HostBot (talk) 03:50, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Article Feedback Tool update

Hey Doc Tree. I'm contacting you because you're involved in the Article Feedback Tool in some way, either as a previous newsletter recipient or as an active user of the system. As you might have heard, a user recently anonymously disabled the feedback tool on 2,000 pages. We were unable to track or prevent this due to the lack of logging feature in AFT5. We're deeply sorry for this, as we know that quite a few users found the software very useful, and were using it on their articles.

We've now re-released the software, with the addition of a logging feature and restrictions on the ability to disable. Obviously, we're not going to automatically re-enable it on each article—we don't want to create a situation where it was enabled by users who have now moved on, and feedback would sit there unattended—but if you're interested in enabling it for your articles, it's pretty simple to do. Just go to the article you want to enable it on, click the "request feedback" link in the toolbox in the sidebar, and AFT5 will be enabled for that article.

Again, we're very sorry about this issue; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing after this :). If you have any questions, just drop them at the talkpage. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 18:57, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Teahouse

Thanks for replying to my question in the teahouse regarding the 20+ mostly-new editors who are making flawed but presumably-good-faith efforts to improve business-related articles.

I restored the other editor's comment. It is up to him to strike it if he wants to. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 21:40, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Was trying to be gentle with noob StudiesWorld who has only been an editor for a week with just over 100 global edits, only 3 to article space. Guess he can chuckle about his faux pas years from now when he's going through an RfA. Glad you didn't take offense at the advice from a well-meaning newcomer.
