Hi @Northamerica1000: Take a look for which one you prefer at the "Release history" table: "Distributor", "Licensee", "Marketer" or "Promoter". 2001:D08:2910:6981:17C3:AC68:5A64:93C9 (talk) 18:15, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. I'm going to pass on becoming involved in the discussion there. North America1000 10:09, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
I respectfully disagree with the closing statement, although I agree with the close. There was a consensus against deletion of the content. There was not a consensus to retain the content. In particular, the MFD participants did not review the content. The reason that this makes a difference is that I think that the editors reserve the right to review the content of any of the individual pages and nominate them for deletion. Would it be possible to change the closing statement to say that there was a consensus against deletion at this time, or that there was not a consensus to delete? We didn't agree that the content should be kept, but that the nomination was flawed. Robert McClenon (talk) 19:44, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Robert McClenon: Done. I find myself in agreement with your notions here. North America1000 07:50, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
Administrators' newsletter – May 2024
News and updates for administrators from the past month (April 2024).
- Phase I of the 2024 requests for adminship review has concluded. Several proposals have passed outright and will proceed to implementation, including creating a discussion-only period (3b) and administrator elections (13) on a trial basis. Other successful proposals, such as creating a reminder of civility norms (2), will undergo further refinement in Phase II. Proposals passed on a trial basis will be discussed in Phase II, after their trials conclude. Further details on specific proposals can be found in the full report.
- Partial action blocks are now in effect on the English Wikipedia. This means that administrators have the ability to restrict users from certain actions, including uploading files, moving pages and files, creating new pages, and sending thanks. T280531
- The arbitration case Conflict of interest management has been closed.
- This may be a good time to reach out to potential nominees to ask if they would consider an RfA.
- A New Pages Patrol backlog drive is happening in May 2024 to reduce the number of unreviewed articles in the new pages feed. Currently, there is a backlog of over 15,000 articles awaiting review. Sign up here to participate!
- Voting for the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) election is open until 9 May 2024. Read the voting page on Meta-Wiki and cast your vote here!

The article The Castle, Barbados has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Notability not established with substantive sources, this appears to be a farm/estate, not a notable community https://www.google.com/maps/place/Barbados+Farms+Limited+-+Castle+Farm/@13.2842152,-59.5971813,212m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m9!1m2!2m1!1sThe+Castle,+Barbados!3m5!1s0x8c43ef60ad2a9ffb:0x573b76fe2993ef05!8m2!3d13.284568!4d-59.597031!16s%2Fg%2F11k_br75pd?hl=en&entry=ttu
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Reywas92Talk 16:35, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
