Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me making two suggestions: 1) On Wikipedia we don't include external links in body text. There should just be very few external links and they should be collected in a dedicated section right at the end of the article. 2) When adding information to an article about an organisation, it needs to be sourced, ideally to third-party published sources. An organisation's own publications can fill in some details, but an article shouldn't entirely be based on such sources. If there are no sources at all, then what you write is effectively a rumour and in the long term will probably be deleted. Cheers, MartinPoulter (talk) 20:24, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Before writing any other text for Wikipedia, I recommend you learn about Wikipedia's house style, for example by reading WP:PEACOCK. It's a very different style from what you would use to write promotional text for a web site, and needs to be very dry and descriptive. Thanks, MartinPoulter (talk) 20:30, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
