Was going to create a page for the New York Headache Center, however you previously deleted this page. It will be similar content, as its the same subject, but please let me know if I will be able to post it without being deleted. Thanks. --LaurenAClements (talk) 01:40, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I created a page on Dusty Schmidt.. was in the midst of editing it.. could you give me the deleted contents so I can put it up properly? thank you :) Vejoyie (talk) 11:54, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just curious why you put a delete mark on the GDiesel page. Just getting to this now. See URL.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GDiesel. How does one know when a page is set for "delete?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by George2140 (talkcontribs) 17:33, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you deleted the explanation for the LDS film "Journey of Faith" for advertising reasons. I am curious if an explination about the film can be made for it that for those who wish to read what it is about that is not advertising. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.237.155.130 (talk) 22:40, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to update/edit the page pertaining to WHIP Student Run Radio but it says you deleted the page that was started in the past. Just curious why you deleted it, and what can be done to bring it back so it can be updated and published. There are multiple published news articles and valid sources that will be cited, which verify the station's existence, history, and accomplishments. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andykato (talkcontribs) 21:34, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Will miss you

[edit]

I noticed this and this, and wanted to come here to say that I will miss you. You've always been a fair and reasonable person, as well as someone I've constantly respected: for you to leave is a loss. Very best wishes to you. Acalamari 21:27, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of change

[edit]

Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that if you are inactive for a continuous three year period, you will be unable to request return of the administrative user right. This includes inactive time prior to your desysopping if you were desysopped for inactivity and inactive time prior to the change in policy. Inactivity is defined as the absence of edits or logged actions. Until such time as you have been inactive for three years, you may request return of the tools at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. After you have been inactive for three years, you may seek return of the tools only through WP:RFA. Thank you. MBisanz talk 00:20, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Diango (Movie Guide)

[edit]

hello

I was going to create a redirect to Django but i noticed that you deleted the redirect because it led to a wrong page.

The Movie Guide list has Diango and should be redirected to Django. I was wondering whether or not to create the redirect.

Thanks. :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A probable misundersrtanding in Melchisédech Thévenot

[edit]

Hi, I am looking for a second opinion before changing/ deleting the following detail in Melchisédech Thévenot. The section Scientific studies reads Thévenot studied astronomy, physics, medicine, and magnetism, and demonstrated in the 1660s the possibility that atmospheric pulsations had something to do with human and animal respiration.

It seems this is false and due to misunderstanding of the www.encyclopedia.com entry for this guy. Here is what can be read there:

One other incident made Thévenot a subject of discussion in the scientific salons: his presentation and development of a theory concerning the cause of human and animal respiration. Sometime during 1660 an unnamed person at the Montmor Academy had suggested that a constant atmospheric pulsation caused the “movements of the heart, of the punctum saliens of the egg, that of the brain, the diaphragm, or of respiration […] Thévenot spread this news through Oldenburg and Huygens, and it was widely discussed for a time. This incident is quite typical of the sort of experiment performed and the type of tales told in seventeenth-century science, and Thévenot is not to be imagined a fool.

https://www.encyclopedia.com/science/dictionaries-thesauruses-pictures-and-press-releases/thevenot-melchisedech

Should this sentence be deleted, or changed as to strees the fact this was not a demonstration but rather a false idea discussed in a typical 17th century state of mind ? Thanks Hexagone59 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:32, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
