Unspecified source/license for File:Artwork.elmorabba3.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Artwork.elmorabba3.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 14:00, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Matloob Zaeem moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Matloob Zaeem, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please discuss you change on the talk page first. Some editors might not approve of your source. Genres on wikipedia are very touchy. Thank you, - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 23:46, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Album.elmorabba3.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I see you have taken to adding genre's with sources that don't actually make any mention of said genre's in the source. I will be going through all your edits later when I have time, reverting those that are not properly sourced and if you continue doing this, your next stop will be WP:AIV. Robvanvee 04:58, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Even when a source is provided that does mention the word, it is something being taken out of context, e.g. the line "With its funk-rock strut and widescreen view of humanity..." from a list article to support "funk rock". ValarianB (talk) 13:12, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Time (Pink Floyd song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page TD Place (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Deletion discussion about El Morabba3 (album)

[edit]

Hello, Tamer Gunner

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username North8000 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, El Morabba3 (album), should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/El Morabba3 (album).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Your draft article, Draft:Matloob Zaeem

[edit]

Hello, Tamer Gunner. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Matloob Zaeem".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 15:46, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, thank you for waiting for six months to facilitate the possibility of modification or adding more information to the page Matloob Zaeem, and I respect your deletion of it after this period. Secondly, I could not add anything else because I was almost permanently banned, and I am currently waiting for six months until I ask to cancel the ban, which will almost end in December 2020, if I get unblocked, I'll think about what I can do. Request reason:

First of all, I am sorry for any article I sabotaged about a year ago and that led to my ban indefinitely. I also apologize for being stubborn until I created another account or two to continue sabotaging. I got what I deserved and learned a lot from Wikipedia politics almost the entire time I was banned. It's been about six months now and I ask you one last chance to prove my goodwill. I promise you guys that you will not regret canceling my ban. Tamer Gunner (talk) 14:18, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Note to whomever ends up reviewing this: I don't see any evidence of socking via CU. SQLQuery me! 22:03, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you @Jpgordon: so much for accepting the request, I promise I won't let you down. So, what's next? Tamer Gunner (talk) 15:41, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Artwork.dropofwhite.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Artwork.dropofwhite.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 11:00, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the copyright holder for this image, I uploaded it about two years ago and was ignorant of Wikipedia's guidelines and policies at the time. So it is better to delete this image immediately. The same should be done with these images (File:Cairokee.naswnas.jpg / File:Artwork.uglyduck.jpg / File:Malyoun.jadal.jpg / File:Artwork elmorabba3.jpg). Thanks for pointing this out to me and I apologize for my ignorance of the instructions. Tamer Gunner (talk) 23:37, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, I have now tagged the other four images as missing evidence of permission too, for deletion in one week. If you want them delete immediately, you could tag them with {{db-g7}}.
In my opinion, File:Malyoun.jadal.jpg could be re-tagged as non-free and remain in Malyoun. --Stefan2 (talk) 09:48, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Creep French single by Radiohead.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Displaying more than one cover art discouraged normally by WP:NFCC#3a. Preferring the more successful UK reissue...

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
