- The book this was published in is "Constantinople: Settings and Traits" by Harrison Griswold Dwight, Harper & Brothers 1926. Google, I'm assuming, thinks it's copyrighted because they have a digitized version that you can search inside of the book, but they don't show you the whole book.[1] From googling, Griswold Dwight died in 1959, meaning it will be PD in Turkey in 2029. I have no idea if it's PD in the US today - our template is unhelpful in that regard. B (talk) 01:10, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

- File:Mufti akmal.jpeg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Per uploader's initial comments ("Got from http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSZ5BhQVx7uqQ3IKXou-uGqCCjTvU3Iq19qIXqLFymDmk3tRIabuSqJNr9T") the image was found on Google images. This makes his claim of being the copyright holder with the authority to release it under a free license highly suspect. Nick—Contact/Contribs 19:44, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
It should be deleted.I have no objection. Ejaz92 (talk) 18:18, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

- Uploader claims it is PD per a link to [2]. According to archive.org, at the time there was no such permission: [3]. ★ Bigr Tex 20:48, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- The image metadata implies that the picture was taken by Eric Draper in his role as White House Photo Director, which puts it in template:PD-USGov-POTUS. How would I confirm? ★ Bigr Tex 21:04, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
