  1. ^ "DRH" replaced "DIR" for the 2022 Diriyah ePrix.

Legend:

Denotes an event that is part of the 2022–23 calendar.
Denotes an event that is not part of the current calendar.
Denotes user-created abbreviations for races held exlusively prior to the 2017–18 season.
Denotes official abbreviations for races that didn't take place and also provisional (user-created) abbreviations when official abbreviation is unknown.
Denotes official abbreviations not in use as they were replaced by new ones.

Further notes:

  • Formula E were not using any official abbreviations before the 2017–18 season. In order to keep continuity, the official abbreviation should replace the user-created abbreviation (if different) for prior races, if it's the same event (i.e. the same ePrix name).
  • The official abbrevations are taken from the official Formula E documents listed on the results page or the notice board. The entire point is to unify Wikipedia articles with the actual abbreviations as Formula E happens to use the abbreviation system itself.
  • All official abbrevations for the given season should always be respected, even if they differ in comparison with previous seasons (Diriyah ePrix is the only occurrence of this so far). Only user-created abbreviations should be replaced retroactively with the official ones.
