Middle Armenian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Uncertain. Possibly from Proto-Indo-European *dʰoHnéh₂, but a *դուն (*dun) was expected from it. Alternatively, somehow connected with Hittite [script needed] (dūni-), [script needed] (tunik, “kind of pastry”).
