Hohoe Municipal District be one of de eighteen districts wey dey Volta Region, Ghana.[1] Originally dem create am as ordinary district assembly insyd 1988, den tyms dem dey bell am Hohoe District, till dem raise am go municipal district assembly level for 29th February 2008 take come Hohoe Municipal District. Buh for 28th June 2012, dem tear de south part of de district take make Afadzato South District; wey de remaining side be de Hohoe Municipal District. De district dey de northern part for Volta Region, wey Hohoe be de capital town.
