Unypoly@kowiki

I cannot confirm affinity with Unypoly. However, users 레즈큐읭 and 게이큐읭 seem to be the same. Pundit (talk) 11:09, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
I already wrote that Unypoly admit 레즈큐읭 and 게이큐읭, 광해왕 are his accounts. As a result, Unypoly is unrelated to other accounts? Also, 볼라벤 is unrelated? Sotiale (talk) 15:36, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
Dear Sotiale, I checked again to answer your question.
The following users are  Confirmed to be sockpuppets of Unypoly :
  • 레즈큐읭
  • 게이큐읭
  • Cycloane
볼라벤 is really Unlikely Unlikely to be part of this group. Why is he blocked indefinitely ?
I'll send a message on the CU mailing list very soon to know if this is a crosswiki issue or not. Regards, -- Quentinv57 (talk) 13:03, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
Because 볼라벤's editing pattern and behavior(on requests and discussions) is very likely. I'm not sure 볼라벤 is impersonate Unypoly, but it is worth consideration. Thank you for helping! Sotiale (talk) 13:58, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Saulchristie @ most/if not all/English projects

All English projects except Wikiversity have local checkusers. Please, ask them. Ruslik (talk) 06:25, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
I was told to ask here because this would possibly result in a lock or some other manner of sanctions/"punishment" for lack of better words for this user in question, across all WMF projects. A steward would be the only one that would have access to the CU data across all English wikis (as far as I'm aware, there aren't any cross wiki checkusers). Thanks, however. Gwickwire (talk) 18:19, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

HRO'Neill @ en and pt.wiki

Dear Polyethylen, thank you for reporting this. As stewards we're not allowed to do checkuser investigations like this at the English and Portuguese Wikipedia's, because these wiki's already have local checkusers, who should be able to take care of your request. I will send an e-mail to the checkuser mailing list, because the data might be useful for stewards since this is possibly a cross-wiki issue, but I'd recommend requesting the checkuser investigations locally anyway. Please let me know if you have any questions. Kind regards, Mathonius (talk) 18:31, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

Okay, btw thanks for help me to identified these abuse accounts.--法尔汉 Aplikasi 09:21, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

Mervzi@fa.wikipedia

Unrelated Unrelated The three named usernames all appear to be separate individuals, and no apparent association with each other. I cannot say that there are not socks operated by one or two of the users themselves, as there seems to be blocks effective through some of the used ranges, they are not the names that you specify. To note some of the ranges are quite busy so there is noise to sort through. Billinghurst (talk) 12:38, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Could you please elaborate? What is the abuse, what are the grounds for suspicion, and why is a checkuser investigation needed? Mathonius (talk) 00:30, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Not done It is not permissible to disclose if a user used an IP or not. --MF-W 18:53, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

This is not the point, "vote for the acquisition of administrative flag", for example, using IP and is the same case here [16]. Rodrigo Tetsuo Argenton m 19:02, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
Alias, this is a fix and well know IP. Rodrigo Tetsuo Argenton m 19:05, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
I request that you do disclose it. This accusation is completely unfounded and oft repeated by this user, and I would be very glad not to have to hear it anymore. Texugo (talk) 20:39, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
From my personal point of view, I think this kind of complicated situation could've been avoided if you excluded IP addresses from participating in requests for adminship. Anyway, I've conducted a checkuser investigation. According to the privacy policy, this data may be released "with permission of the affected user", and Texugo has now given that permission. I've checked. For as far as I can see, Texugo is Unrelated Unrelated to the above-mentioned IP address. Mathonius (talk) 21:08, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
Thank you Mathonius. We'll take your advice into consideration in the future with regards to admin requests, although truthfully that was weeks ago and was just one of many instances in which this accusation was made. Cheers! Texugo (talk) 21:56, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
  • For the record, this is 200.252 speaking and further proving that I'm not Texugo and Texugo is not me. I will really appreciate if this action serves to calm down the harshness, impoliteness and trollish behavior performed daily by user Rodrigo Tetsuo Argenton inside pt:wikivoyage; I really do. Mr.Wilson@fa.wikipedia

I think owner of both of them is one person. (wp:duck) because months ago ladsgroup renamed this user name from (سهند.آ.ک) (this name is Persian form of Sahand Ace) to Mr.Wilson [21] And after blocking Sahand Ace, Mr.Wilson Changed to active user, suddenly! On the other hand, Both of them have a same favorites and edits. --MehdiTalk 08:35, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

158.144.67.96@hi.wikipedia

Enough is enough! Admins, please go ahead and check whatever it is that you may wish to, but before you do so, I plea before thee to answer me as to where have I vanalized the concerned project or any project for that matter. Is it a crime for new/old users to clean things up or to edit the existing articles? Are new editors only supposed to "starting create new articles" [sic]? This guy thinks he owns the pages that he creates on hi.wiki and elsewhere, propagates his POV and tries to further his worldview through the hi.wiki project. So, what if I know the people on hi.wiki. Is that not allowed on Wiki? Tell me where have I violated the spirit of Wiki. I've not been attacking editors, I've only been attacking vandals! Thanks, 158.144.67.96 06:12, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
We do not usually check accounts against IP addresses. Ruslik (talk) 08:04, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
But please clarify my one doubt, I am highly confused, and only stewards can resolve this doubt,............ In the above comment, the user 158.144.67.96 himself has almost confirmed that he is hi:Lovysinghal, a user blocked on Hindi wikipedia. Is a blocked user, whose account-creation is also disabled, allowed to edit from IP address? If so then, since I am also blocked (for good or for bad), I would also like to continue editing on Hindi wiki through IP. Though without declaring from the IP that I am Anunad Singh, nor denying this; as this user is doing. But if it is not allowed, then it is pertinent to do this Checkuser test. Kindly answer my query as this relates to general rules of Wikipedia.-- अनुनाद सिंह (Anunad Singh) (talk) 04:39, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
We do not make the "general rules of Wikipedia", and it would be out of our scope to say to you whether it is allowed or not in certain wiki to edit by IP if your account is blocked. Bennylin 11:08, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Let me quote the Hindi Wikipedia policy puppetry : Use of alternative accounts. Here, the second point clearly says that if a blocked member is using an alternative account, the user and all his accounts can be banned. For Hindi Wikipedia to be able to implement this policy, you must ckeck even the IP addresses against blocked members. -- अनुनाद सिंह (talk) 13:22, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

YouOnlyLarfThrice@en.wikivoyage

Sleeper checks might be considered as fishing. As long as you don't give us a better reason to check (abuse on the named project, suspected multiple account abuse etc.) I will mark that as Not done. Regards, -Barras talk 09:10, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
If it wasn't clear, YouOnlyLarfThrice was conducting vandalism on en.wikivoyage as well (creating nonsense pages, same behavior as on enwiki). I would rather have a CU find the rest of these vandal-only accounts (of which on enwiki there were several) rather than have to block each as they come up. --Rschen7754 09:32, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
Again, without some kind of evidence of possible abuse of multiple accounts on that very project it is called fishing. -Barras talk 13:22, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
I doubt this is fishing since he has a known record of socking on enwiki. But if you really want to get down to it, voy:en:Special:DeletedContributions/FriendlyHondaLarf. --Rschen7754 17:36, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
