A Burns supper is a celebration o the life an poetry o the bard Robert Burns, author o mony Scots poems.[1] The suppers are for ordinar hauden on or naur tae the bard's birthday, 25t Januar (Robert Burns Day or Burns Nicht), awtho thay can be hauden ony time o the year.[2]

Burns suppers are maist common in Scotland an Northren Ireland, but occur whauriver thare are Burns Clubs, Scots Societies, expatriate Scots, or luvers o Burns' poetry.
