Michael Hutter[7] (born March 18, 1983)[8] is an American professional wrestler and promoter, who is better known by the ring name Ethan Carter III (or simply EC3). He is currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where he is the current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and a former NWA National Heavyweight Champion. He also performs on the independent circuit. He is perhaps best known for his time in Impact Wrestling, where he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship two times.[9] Hutter also performed in WWE under his EC3 ring name and as Derrick Bateman and won the 24/7 Championship four times.
