The Girl Next Door is a 2004 American teen sex comedy movie. It is directed by Luke Greenfield. It stars Emile Hirsch, Elisha Cuthbert, Timothy Olyphant, James Remar, Chris Marquette and Paul Dano. It also got mixed reviews from critics with Roger Ebert giving it a 1.5 out of 4 stars. It also holds a 56% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie is about a high school senior, Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch), who falls in love for the first time with the girl next door, Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). However, he finds the situation becoming a problem after he learns that she is a one-time pornographic actress.
