Étienne Balibar (amezaliwa 23 Aprili 1942 katika eneo la Avallon, Yonne, Bourgogne) ni mwanafilosofia kutoka nchini Ufaransa. Baada ya kifo cha mwalimu wake aliyefahamika kwa jina la Louis Althusser, Balibar alikuwa mhamasishaji mkubwa wa mtazamo wa filosofia ya Marxist. Balibar aliibuka wa kwanza katika wanafunzi wa Althusser katika shule ya École Normale Supérieure.
