About the undertakings registers
The registers contain a public record of undertakings.
The ACCC can use a range of tools to encourage compliance and address potential breaches of legislation. Measures include taking a business to court and accepting an undertaking.
An undertaking is a written agreement provided by a business or person to the ACCC. It sets out certain things the business or person agrees to do and/or refrain from doing.
