Hyderabad residents in several areas will face water supply disruptions on Thursday, July 4, as Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) undertakes essential works at the 132KV Peddapur substation.

According to a report by The Hindu, the scheduled maintenance includes replacing the breaker, control and relay panel, and overhauling the isolator at the 132 KV substation Kandi. This maintenance work necessitates an emergency 24-hour power shutdown starting from 7 a.m. on July 4.

Additionally, residents in Bhojagutta, Banjara and Erragadda Reservoir, Jubilee Hills, Somajiguda, KPHB, and Hydernagar will receive water at reduced pressure.

The HMWSSB advises residents in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements and conserve water during this maintenance period.

Telangana Man Leaves Home After Argument With Daughter, Both Found Dead On Railway Tracks Next Day

The bodies of a father-daughter duo were found on railway tracks near Enugonda railway station in Mahabubnagar district in Telangana late Monday night. A probe into the incident revealed that a heated argument had erupted at their residence over undisclosed family matters on Monday after which the father left the house.

The father was distressed by the situation and stormed out of the house declaring that he no longer wished to live. Despite his daughter's attempts to persuade his father to not storm out, he didn’t listen, and she went after him. The police have identified the deceased as Shivanand, 50-years-old and Kalleti Chandana 20-year-old, his daughter.
