Dr. Elizabeth Ursic is a professor of Religious Studies at Mesa Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. Elizabeth holds an MDiv from Yale Divinity School and a PhD in Religious Studies from Arizona State University. Her research focus is religion, gender, and the arts. Her book, Women, Ritual, Power: Placing Female Imagery of God in Christian Worship, was published by SUNY Press in 2014. She is a board member of the Arizona Interfaith Movement. In addition to teaching, she enjoys hiking, international travel and playing piano and cello. She has recorded a CD, Unspoken Touch. (English)
