[edit]

Hi :-) the pages aren't the same, since disambiguation pages should not be connected basing on their content but on their spelling. See Wikidata:Disambiguation pages task force/guidelines and Wikidata:Requests for comment/Disambiguation pages guidelines for more details. I operated in that way basing on those guidelines. Since there have been different opinions about that (see Wikidata_talk:Disambiguation_pages_task_force/guidelines#Rigidness_and_item_splitting), which have not reached a consensus by far, I've stopped my operations until a clearer decision will be made. Non-notable items

[edit]

Hello, please do not create items including links to template or module subpages. Per Wikidata:Notability they should not be connected here in Wikidata. Thank you. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 15:29, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Infobox clergy

[edit]

How are my edits vandalism? I just removed Template:Infobox Papacy from the linked other language wikis. This is such a grave mistake, anyone who has connected those templates should be banned. This should be Template:Infobox Clergy and not Papacy. I suggest you put on your reading glasses next time you claim an edit is vandalism. With no respect, Kolikojerokoko (talk) 22:59, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Kolikojerokoko: You just remove af:Sjabloon:Inligtingskas Pous, but not bs:Шаблон:Папа, br:Patrom:Infobox Pab, bs:Šablon:Infokutija papa, eo:Ŝablono:Informkesto papo, et:Mall:Infokast paavst, fi:Malline:Tietolaatikko:Paavi, hu:Sablon:Pápa infobox, io:Shablono:Infobox Papi, ml:ഫലകം:Infobox Pope, nap:Modello:Papa, nds-nl:Mal:Paus, nl:Sjabloon:Infobox paus, nn:Mal:Infoboks pave, no:Mal:Infoboks pave, oc:Modèl:Infobox Papa de la Glèisa Catolica, pt:Predefinição:Info/Papa, sq:Stampa:Kartela papë, sr:Шаблон:Папа and vec:Modèl:Infobox de Papa. That's why I call it vandalism, because there is no difference to edits like this. Next time give a good reason to remove one template with not adding it to another item. Otherwise its clearly vandalism. Cheers. Groete. --  SpesBona 10:20, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have deleted all other links that had the Pope in them and I will do it again. The matter of fact is that you somehow had old cache data and you haven't seen the changes. I am sorry that or something else had you worried about vandalism, next time, press the little refresh button or add ?action=purge to the link to see the exact changes. All Good from the Lord
Edit:As I am unable to do it now, when my edit ban gets lifted, I will do it most certainly. The People who connected the three different infobox templates clearly do not have eyes, or God forbid a brain. Vandalism is when I do something without any reason at all or to purpousfuly afflict damage to pages. This was not the case as I have previously elaborated. I suggest you take Ginco pills, they help concentration and memory. -- Kolikojerokoko (talk) 16:20, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Kolikojerokoko: I'll did your job for you and grouped all the entries you removed and all these I mentioned to a new item. As I said above: Next time give a good reason to remove one template with not adding it to another item. Otherwise its clearly vandalism. That has nothing to do with cache, as I use the items history to see what you did and what you didn't. You was never blocked here, so you was free do to the things I did now. Give it a try and use your "Ginco pills" first, please. Groete. --  SpesBona 07:40, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dams and reservoirs

[edit]

Hi. For the record, I moved sitelinks like af:Tierpoortdam to dam item Tierpoort Dam (Q114660375) since the article appears to be rather about the dam not about the reservoir it creates. I admit that afwiki article topic is somewhat ambiguous and to some degree its also about the reseroir and so I don't object moving the sitelink back. That is, unlike cebwiki articles that, based on Geonames data, are more clearly about reservoirs. In any case dam (structure) and reservoir (body of water behind the dam) are different and warrant different items, and in general this is what I tried to clear up. These were good faith edits, not "vandalism" as you claim, and I believe my intention was quite evident based on the data in items. 2001:7D0:81FD:BC80:B4CE:A4A4:2715:32FB 11:33, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, please read af:Dam. In Afrikaans a dam is both about the wall and the reservoir. Some articles on Afrikaans about dams are based on Cebuano articles, so they actually match. Groete. --  SpesBona 11:52, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
