Motivation
[edit]This suggestion was discussed before, but the feature was requested to be more detailed. District, village, province, etc. Wikidata:Property proposal/Tüik number. I propose the mahallah (Q7551933) "mahalle" id.
- Statistical data announced every year by the Turkish Statistical Institute (Q1375058) can be downloaded in xlsx format from link.
- For example, I added the population data of Aksaray (Q123751) neighborhood until 2023 using OpenRefine. When the population data is announced next year, I will need to reconcile thousands of wikidata Qid numbers with Turkish Statistical IDs using OpenRefine again. This is a process that takes a lot of time and effort.
- For this reason, I find it useful to add the "Tüik mahalle id" to QIDs.
