Marcellus Scott Williams (December 30, 1968 - September 24, 2024) was an American man executed in Missouri for the 1988 murder of journalist Felicia Gayle.

Reactions

Numerous individuals and organizations condemned Williams' execution. The NAACP expressed outrage, saying Missouri had lynched Williams.[2] Other organizations echoed this.
