Synopsis is WAAAAYYY too long

[edit]

Check Wikipedia:FILMPLOT#Plot and Wikipedia:How_to_write_a_plot_summary or check the plot synopses of any GA rated films such as Avatar or The King's Speech Mdw0 (talk) 12:51, 16 June 2012 (UTC) [reply]

I've done a little bit to improve the concision of the synopsis, but it was really only intended as a draft. It didn't seem right that a film that has been out for over a fortnight hasn't a synopsis on Wikipedia, so I just drafted up the events of the film as comprehensively as I could to make it a less daunting task for the next contributor. I've now cut out some of the less important parts of the plot and hopefully it reads a little bit better.--Zcbeaton (talk) 01:26, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like this has now been sufficiently trimmed. I removed the {{plot}} tag. Nick Levine (talk) 10:35, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong apostrophe in title

[edit]

Title should be `The Angels’ Share` not `The Angels' Share` - but will changing it affect links, and how even can it be changed? Jakeqz (talk) 01:23, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do not attempt to change this. Wikipedia uses straight apostrophes, see MOS:APOSTROPHE. I will revert you changes to the apostrophes in the article. Verbcatcher (talk) 21:18, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Countries and Categories

[edit]

In the infobox, France, Italy and Belgium are listed as countries. It is true that funding for the film came from organizations in those countries. However, none of the film was shot in any of those countries (AFAIAA - certainly no plot locations were in any of them), and I don't think any signifcant cast or crew were from those nations. Moreover, in the categories section, lots of Belgian films, French films and Italian films categories have been added automatically as a result. This seems completely misleading to me. What is the policy here, and does it need review? Jakeqz (talk) 00:05, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
