Miss Cosmo 2024 will be the first inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant, to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 5 October 2024. There will be more than 80 countries and territories competing.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]

Background

The pageant will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from September 15 to October 5, 2024. It will have participants from over 80 countries and territories worldwide.^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10] Miss Cosmo 2024 held a press conference to launch the competition on 11 June 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City.^[11] As of 18 July 2024, 70 countries and territories hold a licence for the pageant. The eighth group of licence holders has yet to be annouced.^[12]^[13] ^[14]^[15]^[16]

Winning Prize

The prize includes US$100,000 in cash (more than 2.5 billion VND), one year of living in a luxury apartment in Vietnam. The total prizes will be up to US$ 1 million.^[17]

Contest regulations

These are the requirements for contestants:^[18]

All contestants must be between the ages of 18 - 30, age cut-off dates may vary by country.
Verify legal citizenship in the representative country.
Not married, no children.
Transgender women can compete, but need to be legally identified as women to participate in the pageant. Some countries specifically require candidates to be biological women.
No criminal record.
