Stott's College

Stott's College, a division of Acknowledge Education, is a private school in Australia. The primary campus is located in Melbourne, with three other campuses located in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth.

History

Stott’s College was founded by its principal Sydney Stott in 1883. Since 1998, the college is operated by a common board under the owning company, Acknowledge Education.

Course background

Stott’s College year 11 & 12 VCE program commenced in 2001. The program was initiated due to the growth of the Chinese market, and the need for an in-house pathway course following English. In 2003, Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) program commenced in the Stott's College Secondary Program.

Campuses

Stott's College was first established in its Melbourne campus, 54 Market St. Stott's College had campuses across other major cities in Australia and New Zealand including Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Dunedin in 1910. Due to the growth of the Melbourne campus, it was moved from 54 Market St to a larger building in 96–100 Russell St.[1]

The current Melbourne campus is located in 168 Exhibition St.[2]

The current Sydney campus was established in 2015 and Perth campus was established in 2017. Later on, Brisbane campus opened in 2020. The newest campus in Bourke St opened in 2022.
