Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. JTP (talkcontribs) 21:36, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Is Roman Wars notable?

[edit]

Someone added a listing for a cancelled Roman Wars game, citing this gamesradar article. The article has an update at the top:

> [UPDATE] While the Call of Duty logo can be seen in the video, taken from an original pitch reel, the gameplay is from a build that was "later repurposed and pitched to Ubisoft, as just Roman Wars" a few years after key members left Activision. This "custom branded version" was apparently not cleared: "A lot of things went down around that time with Guitar Hero and other projects. It was during a volatile time".

Pardon me if I'm misreading, but this sounds to me like this was never actually approved as a CoD game? And it might not be notable for this particular article? Kmeisthax (talk) 04:13, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Main games, free-to-play games, spin-off games, and their regulation

[edit]

There are a lot of handheld and mobile games listed in the table of main games that are not ports of the said titles (they are rather spin-offs). These spin-off games are different, and they are not representing the main titles. So I suggest to create a table specifically for the spin-off games and to put these games there.
