Problems on this page

[edit]

Hi, I'm not used to do modifications on wikipedia in english, so I want to inform there are problems of definition of the Chaco here. For resume, as on the other versions in spanish or portuguese:

-Gran Chaco (or Just Chaco) is not "Dry Chaco"

-the Dry Chaco is roughly the 2/3 East of the Gran Chaco, about 790 000 km2

-the 1/3 West is Humid Chaco, about 293 000 km2

-Gran Chaco = about 1 100 000 km2

Proof and for reference (with maps of the Chaco, divided in these 2 areas), the website foundation of the WWF:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humid_Chaco is right (but the map is wrong...)
someone should create the article "Dry Chaco", and let this one as Chaco/Gran Chaco (dry+humid) Tupacam (talk) 03:29, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
