[edit]

if yungblud is 21 why does his page say that he’s 20 Halseyblud (talk) 08:27, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I thought he was 22?

He was 21 at the time of Halseyblud's comment, but he turned 22 before your comment. Sawhitney36 (talk) 05:38, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Huh? Yungblud is 22

Millie vanily (talk) 22:11, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

He is 23 years old as of right now (2020 December) and was born on August 5, 1997.#BHC — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yungbludisthebest (talkcontribs) 04:48, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Year

[edit]

His birth year is 1997, he is 21 and has stated this multiple times. A reliable source: CapitalFM on Twitter: "We let @yungblud edit his own Wikipedia page and it was an experience we'll never forget". He himself confirms in this that he is 21 years of age. Sawhitney36 (talk) 01:30, 29 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Age

[edit]

As some other users have stated above, he himself said in this interview on Youtube min. 4:09 that he is 21 (video published on February the 24th of 2019). I think his year of birth and age should be updated to the correct information, which is that he is 21 because he was born in 1997. Eilas beginning (talk) 20:26, 29 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the source that said he was 20. It's a gossip website, which makes it obviously not a reliable source. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:25, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Music videos

[edit]

"11 Minutes" has been a music video for over a month, I think it should be added to "Music videos". Sawhitney36 (talk) 22:42, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It has now been added. Sawhitney36 (talk) 05:33, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Names and Associated Acts

[edit]

Shouldn't Halsey be added as an Associated Act? They have very much been associated with each other since February. His mothers name is Sam Harrison and his middle name is Richard (I don't know if this an unreliable source). Sawhitney36 (talk) 02:32, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

She is not currently an Associated Act because she has only collaborated with him once, if another one happens, she can be added. His mothers name and his middle name have been added and confirmed with a source. Sawhitney36 (talk) 05:35, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

He talks about his family in this interview and says his sisters names, Isabella Harrison and Jemima Harrison. Sawhitney36 (talk) 00:01, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

His sisters names have been added with this source. Sawhitney36 (talk) 05:35, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalisation

[edit]

Why can't we capitalise YUNGBLUD if that's his brand name? – Sawhitney36 (talk) 11:19, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't get a reply for this but I found out that it's against wikipedia rules to capitalise it unless it's a proper name, so you just say "(stylised in all caps)". Sawhitney36 (talk) 05:33, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In the section "Personal Life," it says maths teacher instead of math teacher. Cc948327 (talk) 22:56, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Already done. Yes, it does, and it's fine like that. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 23:09, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The reason it would say maths is that in the UK where he grew up, that is what it is called. And Wikipedia does not insist on American English. Dakinijones (talk) 18:58, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In the beginning paragraph, add '...known professionally as Yungblud (stylized in all caps)...", as that is his official brand name. glowing regards, paperandscissors (☆ contact me!) 04:02, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

He's called "Harrison" in the picture captions, and sometimes in the body. Should that be "Yungblud" if that's his professional name? Carlo (talk) 11:35, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it would be worthwhile to add Ackworth Independent Boarding and Day School as the school he went to, to the early life section. While I agree that Twitter can be an unreliable source, and would still recommend a better source, I’d still say that the school itself verifying him as an old scholar is reliable. As well as the fact that this article has used tweets as a source before, as shown as in [[46],[[50] and [[70]. I’d also point to the schools own Wikipedia that list him as a notable alumni. Awards & Nominations

[edit]

He was nominated to the MTV VMA 2020 under the “MTV Push Best New Artist” category. It isn’t listed in the Wikipedia page. Hrrybrat (talk) 17:11, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2022 Mahsa Amini protests

[edit]

Yungblud's support for Iranian protesters and Mahsa Amini needs to be added to the article.[1] [Yungblud on the death of Mahsa Amini: “I’m so f*****g angry" (rollingstone.co.uk) 2601:C4:C300:A210:E5FE:DE06:FB52:1930 (talk) 18:21, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Clarity in prose

[edit]

Harrison was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at a young age, which made him a troublesome student.
This wording makes it sound as if the DIAGNOSIS made him a troublesome student. At least, it does so to me. Use this viewpoint as you will. ◦◦derekbd◦my talk◦◦ 20:37, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
