1281 or 1292?

edit

The date for the fall of the Haripunchai kingdom is given in these two different dates. Even a Google search gives more 1292 that 1281 answers, BUT - these are mostly enciclopedic voices copied over from the authoritative Wikipedia (...). Britannica too gives 1292. I suspect however that 1281, quoted in many Thai local history sites, may be the year of the actual conquest of Lamphun and fall of Haripunchai (or Haripunjaya if you like the Indianized name). Why then that 11 years hiatus?

King List/ Dates

edit

I was trying to translate dates of the list of rulers from the Thai version of this article. They have 47 monarchs (2 more). Where did our list come from? Looking at the Thai transliterations they match up to the given English ones about two thirds of the time. I'm not sure that these English names we use here make much sense or are even accurate.
