To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.

  • Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
  • Offer a correction if possible.
  • References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
  • Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 08:51 on 19 September 2024) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
  • Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
  • Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
  • No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
  • Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
  • Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

"stone seats to them are dedicated" -- wouldn't "are dedicated to them" read better?:Jay8g [VTE] 07:08, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging @TFA coordinators: for input... This seems like it's probably a sensible change, "stone seats to them" doesn't scan well on its own.  — Amakuru (talk) 08:50, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, just realized this. Jehochman, is right.
Also a merge tag, which kept the death of fujimori article off the main page.Sportsnut24 (talk) 06:13, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not an expert on the page's subject. However, looking at the talk page's discussion, it's not clear whether the article is littered with NPOV issues, or if a few inline tags (e.g. {{POV statement}}, {{Unbalanced opinion}}, etc.) might more clearly identify the concerns, or if there are still even issues? —Bagumba (talk) 08:05, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Another one from Queue 2: ... that the course of the River Tay was diverted to allow the construction of the Jubilee Bridge?

The source, however, says that North of [the bridge], the course of the River Tay was diverted to allow the new road to run along the river valley. This doesn't seem to support the hook? I'm not a road person so perhaps this is fine. Pinging people involved: BorgQueen, JuniperChill, Voorts. Vladimir.copic (talk) 23:45, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I read it as the road connecting to the bridge, so it was necessary to divert the river to build that road so that the bridge could be built. voorts (talk/contributions) 00:40, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Another source says "In mid-July 1975 a short length of the River Tay north of Dunkeld was diverted from its normal course into a new man-made channel. This work was necessary for the construction of the embankment for the new road." So again giving the reason for the diversion as the road not the bridge. Vladimir.copic (talk) 02:40, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Vladimir.copic @Voorts I've switched it to the other hook from the nomination, with a slight rewording. BorgQueen (talk) 06:00, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • * ... that a viral dance in which performers mimic driving a car was performed by Amish content creators, who substituted operating a horse and buggy? I highly doubt these were actually "Amish content creators". the Amish do not like being photographed and reject technology as a whole. see here. Additionally the article says "In addition, a version of the dance was produced by #Amishtiktok content creators". "#Amishtiktok content creators" may or may not be Amish. Therapyisgood (talk) 01:32, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A quick internet search suggests, unsurprisingly, that the dancers were not Amish. TSventon (talk) 02:47, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm... someone lied on the Internet? No, can't be. Therapyisgood (talk) 03:13, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
