Chief Whip is a member of the parliament of Bangladesh[1] from the ruling party who is responsible for the maintenance of party discipline inside the parliament.[2][3][4]
The work of the Whip is to ensure the proper participation (as the party wants) of the party MPs in the activities of the parliament, such as voting.[5][6] If the Leader and Deputy Leader of Parliament are absent, the Whip can speak for them.[7][8]
