Mariano Laurenti (15 April 1929 – 6 January 2022) was an Italian film director and actor.

Career

He started as a script supervisor and later became an assistant director for, among others, Mauro Bolognini and Stefano Vanzina.[1] He directed 50 films between 1966 and 1999, being mainly active in the "commedia sexy all'italiana" genre.[1] Laurenti died in Gubbio on 6 January 2022, at the age of 92.[2]
