Komissarov

[edit]

Okay, this is a qoute from the article about Dmitry Karakozov, the first person who attempted to assassinate Alexandar II:

"On April 4, 1866, Dmitry Karakozov made an unsuccessful attempt on the life of Tsar Alexander II at the gates of the Summer Garden in St.Petersburg. The attempt was thwarted by Osip Komissarov, a peasant-born hatter's apprentice, who jostled Karakozov's elbow right before the shot was fired"

Now, how can this be? Either this one or the article on Karakozov is bogus. Or was it that Komissarov had that luck to twice be conveniently walking by just as the emperor was to be shot at? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.3.91.165 (talkcontribs) 00:02, 10 January 2008
