There seems to be uncertainty as to whether Parable of a scribe and Parable of Drawing in the Net are two parables or one. We need a theologist. Biscuittin (talk) 22:54, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose the merge. Not a theologian, but expressing an opinion. Verse 51, "Have you understood all these things?", seems to finish not just the Parable of Drawing in the Net but all of the preceding 7 parables in Matthew 13. So, Matthew 13:52 then reflects on the set of all the preceding parables with a similie that encompasses the theme of the whole chapter, not just the immediately preceding parable.
