old discussion from twin set before merge (Dj stone 15:57, 16 September 2007 (UTC))

"The combination are made as a matching set from fine wool"

Necessarily? If it's made of acrylic, cotton or some other material, does it stop being a twin set?

Moreover, does the inner layer still need to be considered as a jumper, rather than any other kind of top, for it to count? -- Smjg 17:01, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi all,
I have used this blog post to improve this article. Credit belongs to that blogger, not me.

[edit]

First it said it emerged in the 40s, then in the 20s. Which is it?
