Personal information

[edit]

Hey EvidenceFairy. You need to shoot an email to oversight-en-wp@wikipedia.org, and someone will permanently remove the information. Also, if it comes up again, its usually best to go straight to the email, since this might avoid unintentionally spreading the information while trying to get it deleted. I removed your post on the Teahouse just to make it a little harder for someone to find in the interim. Thanks for reaching out on this. TimothyJosephWood 08:12, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help User:Timothyjosephwood, I will send the email now. --EvidenceFairy (talk) 08:30, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, EvidenceFairy. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay

[edit]
Golden Bay Air are holding some seats for us until 21 November

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.

Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
