Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Libertaz, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Neoliberalism. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! I also would like to add that I thought it was a good idea to expand the lead of Neoliberalism and summarize what was stated in the section on "Terminology". I thought that since the meaning of the term has changed since the 1950's, and this shift in meaning causes confusion, we should clear up the confusion right at the beginning of the article. On the other hand, others can make the argument that an overly detailed summary in the lead section gives us too much repetition. In general, it is often very difficult to make a major revision to the lead section of an article that will be accepted by the other contributors. It's a lot easier to revise or add to the body of the article.
I hope you continue to participate in English Wikipedia. It would be good to have more contributors try to improve Neoliberalism and the other economics articles. Don't be discouraged if your edits are undone. It would be a good idea to read the talk page of Neoliberalism (and don't spend too much time on it.) There has been a great deal of controversy concerning this article.Dulcimer music (talk) 03:38, 17 October 2012 (UTC)JDefauw[reply]
Hi :) I have read some of the talk on the talk page. My contribution did indeed only emphasize some information already discussed later on in the article by placing it in the lead of the article. Adding this info would imho give those people that only read the lead a better idea of the term and its usage (over time). Grtz, Libertaz (talk) 23:29, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We could use another opinion at Social Market Economy.

[edit]

There is presently a dispute on the talk page of Social Market Economy. I would like to get as many knowledgeable people involved in the discussion as possible. Since you have already edited Neoliberalism, I thought you might also have some knowledge about the Social Market Economy. If you have time, I would appreciate it if you would take part in the discussion. Please go to the section titled "Appropriate lead section". It doesn't matter to me whose side you take as long as you give your honest opinion.Dulcimermusic 22:20, 5 February 2013 (UTC)JDefauw[reply]
