... six years now, all the best with your studies! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:32, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dumb question....

[edit]

I might have asked you this before and forgotten. Why did you not push Lyra to GAN? Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 02:23, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Casliber: Mainly just a lack of time to work on it. I was nearly there, but then sophomore year of college happened and my free time disappeared. I doubt I'll be back in any real capacity any time soon (and even if I were my enthusiasm for astronomy has waned), so if you want to push it to GAN I'd say go for it. It shouldn't take much work at all assuming standards haven't changed much over the past four years. StringTheory11 (t • c) 16:00, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seven years!

--Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:53, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Gerda Arendt:, thank you. Hope all is well with you and everyone else here. Thought I might get back into Wikipedia during the pandemic, but instead I've been getting outside and exploring the mountains as much as I can. There's so much adventuring that I want to do while I'm still in my 20s and able to that there's no time for WP. StringTheory11 (t • c) 04:15, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Gerda Arendt:. Thank you! Trail running and skiing in the mountains are some of my favorite activities these days. Hope all is well. StringTheory11 (t • c) 16:27, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article X Carinae has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence that it meets the notability guidelines for astronomical objects. 1. Not visible to the naked eye, 2. Not in any high-importance catalog, 3. Never received significant coverage in reliable sources and 4. Was not discovered in 1850. SIMBAD cites 41 references for this star, but all are just big catalogs and do not give any significant coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
