The 2021 Tasmanian state election was held on 1 May 2021 to elect all 25 members of the Tasmanian House of Assembly. It was conducted by the Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC).
The incumbent Liberal government, led by Premier Peter Gutwein, won a third term in government. They were opposed by the Labor Party, led by Rebecca White. It was the first time since the Liberal Party was created in 1945 that a non-Labor government won a third term in office in Tasmania. Gutwein called an early election.
