I will like to redirect all reuests that look for word chunri or chunni. Both words are basically synonyms for dupatta. I am an Indian and any one can contact me for clarification on this topic. Kumar 19:28, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Similarity to Ajrak

[edit]

How similar is a dupatta to an ajrak? Should these articles be merged or cross-referenced?—C45207 | Talk 01:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think confusion made by the person who said the Priest King wearing Dupatta, that is not Dupatta it is Ajrak. I don't know why the user posted Priest King's picture as related with Dupatta. Read more about it Mohenjo-daro and Ajrak. Dupatta is used whole in South Asia as a veil, that is for only women, and the Ajrak is for both men and women. It is better to remove Priest King's image from the article of Dupatta. Alixafar (talk) 08:52, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest to remove Priest King's image

[edit]

It is confusing and mixing-up the concept of Ajrak and Dupatta. Alixafar (talk) 08:57, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
