Logical Inconsistency

[edit]

"Christian realises that Ana is a virgin and takes her virginity without making her sign the contract. The two then have sex."

(First apologies for doubtlessly posting this in the incorrect place - I'm not very savvy with Wikipedia.) The two sentences above seem to say that the two have sex ("takes her virginity") and then have sex ("the two then have sex"). I don't understand the need for both sentences. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:6B0:1760:5DAC:EACC:4C38:DA5F (talk) 20:07, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well spotted - removed the superfluous "The two then have sex." Chaheel Riens (talk) 22:00, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Help

[edit]

I want to translate this to other language can some body help me ? Grey is a color or a name ? best regards Shahnamk (talk) 21:42, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Shahnamk: Grey is the character's surname. It also has a double meaning (both the surname and the color) in the book's title. Hoof Hearted (talk) 12:40, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Conclusion About Sales vs HP Series

[edit]

So, the conclusion here about it outselling the HP series combined is incorrect. It outsold each individual book in the HP series, but not the combined total of all books of the HP series, and that is a dubious claim in the first place: https://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2012/aug/09/best-selling-books-all-time-fifty-shades-grey-compare#list, even though that is 2012, at those numbers the book would have needed to surpass 26.25 Million copies of that book in order to surpass the entire collection of HP, assuming that HP never sold another copy of any of the books in the series. And then in this article from last April puts the total for the book at just over 6 million, nowhere near the entirely of the HP series. 50.202.229.150 (talk) 19:39, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
