question

[edit]

how is sanat-kumara related to lakshmi? b/c his name is mentioned in the lakshmi sahasranama and some other stotram... "sanat-kumara uvaca, yevam stuta mahalakshmi brahma rudra dibishurahi." and "gargya uvaca, sanat kumara masinam dvadashadhitasanibham appritchan yogi nobhaktya yogi namatasiddhayei."

i suck at sanskrit... so what i wrote was from ear and i have no idea how accurate it is.

if anyone can help me out PM me.

thanks (Sadartha 00:56, 4 May 2007 (UTC))[reply]

I can't read much of it either - other than "Sanat-Kumara said: ...something about the prowess of Lakshmi, Brahma and Shiva" and the second verse says "Garga? said: Sanat Kumara ... something about the perfection of, or the perfect yogi - and bhakti yoga"? I found this story which combines all of the characters mentioned, which might be of interest even if not directly related to these verses. :-) Gouranga(UK) 09:10, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
how is sanat-kumara related to lakshmi? Four Kumaras have own vaishanva sampradaya. And from Lakshmi is another Vaishnava sampradaya. There are four Vaishnava sampradayas, plus Gaudiya Vaishnava sampradaya from Sri Krishna Caitanya. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.133.95.135 (talk) 20:59, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Understanding the Heirarchy

[edit]

The seven great continents are the souls of the zodiac signs in the Hierarchy (ancient kumaras not on earth; 4 future lands will emerge to be the present kumaras of aries, tau, gem, pisc and possibly cancer) eg Capricorn North America, Aquarius South America, Libra Greenland, Sag Antarctica, Virgo Australia, Leo Africa, Scorpio Asia. Continents are divisions of land. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Asfd666 (talkcontribs) 19:20, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

Quite big article

[edit]

This is a big article. But anyway - maybe it can be merged, but still structure is to be so that one do not take one sage for another in Four Kumaras. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.133.95.135 (talk) 20:57, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
