I really don't like the fact that I have to cite my sources on Wikipedia, since my edits seem to usually get reverted anyway, so I'll put my information here and hope somebody cares enough to do the footwork. Sometime in the past week Android 2.3 became available for the G2x using LG's software update tool. I'm sure a quick google search will point you to the necessary documentation. Cheers. Incorrect OS

The P990 and SU660 both have official Android 4.0.4 but the P999 only has official Android 2.3.4. The G2x hardware is different enough that it has so far been impossible to create an aftermarket ICS build for the P999. There are "hackfest" ICS builds, but either they use the old kernel version from GB and lack HWA or they use ICS/JB kernels and lack RIL. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.183.84.44 (talk) 17:25, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
